Christiane Baehr

Christiane has been Society’s COO since 2016, after originally holding the post of Office Manager. Prior to working with Society, she had her own business, running a successful gastropub with her husband in North West London. 

Coming from a hospitality background, initially in high-end London hotels, she values attention to detail and (internal/external) customer service, whilst running her own business gave her the necessary financial and people skills to oversee Society’s day-to-day global operations. Christiane was instrumental in Society’s journey to becoming a B Corp, its subsequent re-certification and continues the work on its drive towards continuous improvement and net zero certification.

Christiane gained her BA in German and American Studies from Leicester University and went on to do a Diploma in European Business Management and Information Systems at Anglia Ruskin University.
