The Deputy Dean, Learning & Teaching will provide strategic academic leadership and drive excellence in learning and teaching across the School of Communication & Design (SCD). Reporting to the Dean, the Deputy Dean will lead the school’s learning and teaching strategy, ensuring programs are innovative, industry-connected, globally relevant, and delivered to the highest standards. The role oversees curriculum development, quality assurance, digital and blended learning enhancement, and initiatives that strengthen the student experience.

As a senior academic leader, the Deputy Dean, Learning & Teaching will play a pivotal role in shaping the School’s academic direction, contributing to strategic planning, capability-building, and continuous improvement across programs. Central to the success of this role is a collaborative and forward-looking approach, ensuring alignment with university-wide learning and teaching priorities and fostering strong engagement with staff, students, and industry partners.
