Sabina Messent

Researcher

Sabina started their executive search career when they joined Society in April 2023. Sabina is a Researcher in the Higher Education Practice. Prior to joining Society, Sabina worked for an energy and infrastructure recruitment firm, and as a TESOL teacher and an English Literature and Language tutor.

As a Researcher, Sabina searches for and connects with diverse candidates, and supports with the delivery of high-quality executive and non-executive search services. Sabina has worked on successful leadership searches for clients such as UCL, Buckinghamshire New University, and the University of Westminster for roles such as Dean of Faculty and Head of School. They have led the research for successful non-executive appointments for organisations such as Lancaster University, Birmingham City University, and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).

Sabina is passionate about supporting under-represented candidates throughout the recruitment process for senior leadership roles, and working with purpose-led businesses which have a positive social and environmental impact.

Sabina has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in English and a Master of Arts in English Literary Studies and Film from the University of Exeter.
