Bible Society makes important Head of Major Gifts appointment
Malcolm Fleming has been appointed Bible Society’s new Head of Major Gifts.
Founded in 1804, Bible Society is a non-denominational Christian Bible society with charity status whose purpose is to make the Bible available throughout the world.
Society conducted a search of senior fundraisers in the UK with a particular focus on those in Major Gifts. After speaking with candidates from a variety of faith-based charities and mission driven organisations, Relate appointed Malcolm from his role as Business Development Manager at Oxfam to lead Bible Society’s funding from Major Gifts.
Malcolm is a seasoned fundraiser, having held the position of Regional Campaign Manager with Age Concern England, Fundraising and Resources Manager with British Dyslexia Association, and then a mix of Corporate and Major Gifts positions with Oxfam. Malcolm is passionate about the not-for-profit sector and describes himself as ambitious for change, making him an excellent addition to the team at Bible Society.
