Non-Executive Director, On Purpose

Package:
Part-time and voluntary (expenses reimbursed)
Location:
Remote (with occasional in-person meetings, usually in London)
Deadline:
Monday 18th August 2025
On Purpose is an international social enterprise. We develop people who are transforming the economy from one driven by profit to one driven by purpose. We run a year-long Associate Programme in London, Paris, and Berlin – combining paid placements, intensive training, and coaching – that has already helped over 1,000 professionals find meaningful, impactful careers.
We’re seeking several new Non-Executive Directors to strengthen our Board and help us achieve our ambitious goals, including evolving our flagship Associate Programme, adopting more systemic ways of working, and launching new transformational services.
You will join a small, impact-driven, international Board that balances entrepreneurial flair with strategic governance. Meetings are quarterly and mostly virtual, with one annual in-person session per year.
You’ll be someone with high integrity, excellent strategic insight, and a deep belief in transforming the economy for the better. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, especially those currently underrepresented on boards.
We’re especially interested in individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- organisational management and development with an understanding of complexity
- learning and development design and delivery
- B2B partnerships and business development
- marketing and brand positioning
