Emily Payne
Senior Researcher
Emily is a Senior Researcher in Society’s Higher Education Practice. She initially joined the firm as a Researcher in our Auckland office before relocating back to London in August 2023.
Prior to moving to New Zealand, Emily spent several years as a Researcher for a boutique board-level search firm specialising in senior executive and non-executive appointments in London.
Emily believes that successful appointments are not just about matching skills on paper but understanding the cultural nuances and aspirations of both the candidate and the client. More recently she has worked on senior appointments for clients including UCL, UCLH, The University of Technology Sydney, Monash University, RMIT University, Oxford Brookes University, The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, and Birmingham City University.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from the University of Leeds.
