AutoXP find their Chief Technology Innovation Officer

AutoXP is the leading provider of automotive experiences, with a wide range of products and services including fleet management for the automotive industry nationwide. They are diversifying with a focus on technology as the company expands and needed to find a Chief Technology Innovation Officer to lead the strategy for the company.

Society investigated the region for senior leaders in technology roles. We spoke with experts in a wide variety of sectors to find professionals who have expertise building and implementing ambitious digital strategies. Skills from product design and development to change management, working with diverse stakeholder to complete large-scale projects were evaluated and the best candidates were brought forward to interview. We are now delighted to announce that Steve Coppin will take on this challenge.

Working with a close team of industry experts Steve will be responsible for delivering  AutoXP’s vision of applying technology to the auto industry, an area that AutoXP have already started to create value in. Known for high quality service, AutoXP has in recent years moved away from being just a provider to the automotive industry and become a specialist in logistics and technology.

Steve Coppin has had a long and varied career working with world leading organisations, from investment banking to academia. Recently Steve has led technology transformation at the Alzheimer’s Society. Prior to this, Steve has led technology functions in the University of Oxford, Reed Elsevier, Nat West Markets and LSI Logic. He has also been an Associate Fellow of Nuffield College, University of Oxford for 15 years. Early in his career, Steve was a member of the Royal Navy and an expert in electronic warfare.

Steve is married with three teenage sons and enjoys boxing and judo. He plays guitar in a rock band and enjoys walking and living in the mountains.
