Raphael Lanfant joins the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in a newly created role as Global Vice President Channel Sales, to sit on the Commercial leadership team in Singapore.

The role of the Global Vice PresidentChannel Sales is to transform and accelerate the growth of the global sales through B2B channel partners and to oversee their technology and operations enablement.
Society was tasked to find a commercial leader who is an outstanding communicator and critical thinker, with the clarity of thought to articulate a vision for growth, and bring Mandarin Oriental colleagues, hotel owners and the B2B sales partners on that journey.
Raphael has been in the travel industry for over 15 years holding a number of roles in Europe, Australia, the United States, and Asia, and brings with him a wealth of experience in the travel ecosystem and its value chain spanning from start-ups to global organizations.
In his most recent experience with Alibaba’s travel division, Fliggy, he successfully led a team of high performing sales and account managers, operations experts and market management leaders across Greater China and Asia to enable hotel partners to fully leverage the China market opportunity during the most challenging times.
