Jamie Walters will be joining The Savoy, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the meetings and events industry having worked at some of London’s most well renown luxury hotels.

The Savoy was the first purpose-built deluxe hotel in London, setting new standards for luxury, comfort and service unheard of in the hotel world of the day. As the first hotel of its type in London, it was a magnet for the wealthy, the famous, the glamorous, and even the notorious; their stories have accrued over the decades to become part of the legend of this truly unique hotel.

The Savoy came to Society seeking to appoint a Director of Social Sales to be responsible for growing the social events business profitably both reactively and proactively and to retain and develop the existing database of clients.

Jamie brings a wealth of relevant experience to this role, having planned and delivered events at some of Central London’s most luxury hotels, he is the perfect choice to assist the Savoy in redefining the hotel as the number one choice to host events in the capital.
