Society recently partnered with DoSomething.org in New York to appoint Asif Khan as Director of Campaign Management.
DoSomething.org is the largest tech not-for-profit exclusively for young people and social change. Its digital platform is activating over six million young people to create offline impact in every US area code and across 131 countries. It runs over 250 cause campaigns delivering real-world impact, and cares deeply about activating millions of young people around the world to make impact in their communities.
Society was thrilled to work with the DoSomething family again to appoint to this new campaign management position. Our broad search focused on a range of account management professionals with a particular focus on those managing client/sponsor relations and with experience of cause campaigns.
Joining from Games for Change, a social impact organization leveraging video games and immersive technology for social good, Asif is interested in the intersection of technology and social change, and instantly connected with DoSomething’s cause focused campaigns and tech forward culture. Previously he worked in investment finance, and following a graduate degree from the University of Warwick in the UK, a range of international development organisations ranging from the United Nations Foundation, Action Contre La Faim and Room to Read.
Speaking of his experience with Society during the appointment process Asif commented:
