Trustee Appointed to the Board of NUS Charity

New Trustee appointed to the Board of NUS Charity, one of the two governing bodies of the National Union of Students.

We were delighted to partner with the National Union of Students (NUS) earlier this year on a programme of Board appointments. NUS comprises two closely connected entities: NUS UK, which leads national student voice campaigns, and NUS Charity, which works to strengthen and develop students’ unions. While legally distinct, the two organisations operate side by side, united by a shared mission to empower students and create positive change.

Following an extensive process, Manpreet Dhesi has been confirmed as a new Trustee for NUS Charity. She will be bringing her expertise, fresh perspective, and strategic insight to support the organisation in enhancing its impact, operational effectiveness, and financial sustainability.

Manpreet has a background in neuropsychology. Her early career was spent working in communications. She is a Chartered Marketer MCIM with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), a Chartered PR Practitioner MCIPR with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), and a member of PRCA (MPRCA) and the Institute of Internal Communications (MIIC). In her spare time she is already a Trustee of Birkbeck’s Students’ Union and Crohn’s & Colitis UK, as well as an Advisor for the South Asian Heritage Month charity.
