Q Advisory Board New Board Members

Q Advisory Board welcomed three new members: Amar Shah, Anna King and Pedro Delgado.

Q is a community of thousands of people across the UK and Ireland collaborating to improve the safety and quality of health and care.

Society was partnered to identify and approach individuals who could add value to the Q Advisory Board and also help to provide valuable input in their future plans and strategy.

Each of the three individuals has excellent health, innovation and strategic health experiences.

Amar stated “It’s a real honour to be appointed to the Advisory Board for Q, at the Health Foundation. The Q community is the largest network of improvers across the UK, and collectively we have the opportunity to support the entire health and care system to apply the systematic method of quality improvement to tackle the things that really matter to our service users, local communities and staff. I am looking forward to learning more about the work of Q, and seeing how we can build on this to have greater impact.”

Anna is also founder-partner of DigitalHealth.London. She is a chartered accountant, with over 25 years’ experience advising and working with public and private health care organisations as well as companies working with the NHS. Anna has been instrumental in establishing the HIN at the forefront of the spread and adoption of innovation in the NHS.

Pedro shared “I’m looking forward to joining the Q advisory Board and supporting the next chapter of the network as it continues to evolve. I will bring tons of curiosity to this work, as well as UK and global perspectives”
