Nuffield Foundation makes another senior hire

Simon Gallacher has worked on education research and policy for over 20 years, with experience in the civil service, higher education, funding and research organisations. Following an extensive search by Society, he will soon be joining the Nuffield Foundation as their new Head of Quantitative Skills.

Simon said of Society:

"Tanya and Ruth were extremely attentive and thoughtful in their approach to managing me – they foresaw issues, questioned hard (but fairly!), were readily available and proactive and timely in communicating. It felt like a highly individualised experience and they were very adept at making sure that the ‘fit’ between me and the role was based on the Foundation’s and my interests and experiences: that’s quite a unique recruitment experience!"
