Aman New York appoints a Director of Food and Beverage Operations

We are delighted to announce that the Aman New York has appointed Sumeet Jhingan as Director of Food and Beverage Operations.

Aman New York is one of the newest urban locations of the Aman Resorts family. Aman Resorts was founded in 1988 by an Indonesian hotelier named Adrian Zecha. Since then, the company has grown to operate 34 exquisite properties in 20 countries around the world. The organization is passionate about cultural preservation, and several properties have been created in places with historical background.

Society assisted Aman New York in the search for a preopening Director of Food and Beverage Operations. The brief was to source Candidates from the United States, focusing on individuals that had hotel operations and fine dining experience, with a keen focus on quality. We identified candidates  from across the luxury hospitality sector  .

Sumeet Jhingan, the successful candidate, joins the hotel with a wide range of international experience in the hospitality sector, having worked in hotels, restaurants, and private members clubs, focusing on leading and managing their Food and Beverage operations. He has over 20 years of experience. In his role at Aman New York he will, in addition to overseeing all the F&B operations, also oversee the Aman Club, a one-of-a-kind membership experience.
