New CEO for the Aga Khan Foundation in Afghanistan
Society collaborated with the Aga Khan Foundation to recruit Jan Schollaert as CEO for Afghanistan. The Aga Khan Foundation implements innovative, community-driven solutions to development challenges. This critical senior role coordinates and manages a diverse range of stakeholders delivering development projects across one of the world’s most fragile states.
Jan joins from his role as Director of Save the Children’s Myanmar Education Consortium. He brings 30 years of development management experience in governmental and multilateral agencies as well as international and local NGOs, and has worked across a range of politically sensitive locations.
