Three new colleagues join the Society team

We are delighted to welcome three new colleagues to Society: Vasile Boico, Usma Collins, and Alyce Brogan.

Vasile grew up in Romania and is now based in North West London. He graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first-class degree in Psychology all while working part-time for a multinational company within the transportation analytics sector. He also completed a research placement assessing the links between post-stroke cognition, hippocampus health, and dementia during this time. Vasile joins our Higher Educations team and is also currently undertaking a part-time Master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL, having been involved in a research project aimed at developing a digital group intervention for individuals with functional neurological disorder.

Usma is currently based in Hertfordshire, in the UK and studied Social Policy at Loughborough University. With a background in the charity sector, having set up a new charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, before becoming an Assistant Divisional Director for a national early years charity, Usma joins Society as a Principal Researcher in our Not-for-Profit team. Usma has also spent several years recruiting for independent schools within the UK and overseas so comes with a wealth of experience within recruitment.
