The Centre for Youth Impact hires three new trustees for its Board

Sagar Sharma, Yetunde Ogundele and Devina Paul have been appointed as trustees of the Centre for Youth Impact.

The Centre for Youth Impact is a charity which supports and works with charities, social enterprises and local authorities to provide high quality programmes and services to improve the life chances of young people in the UK.

Society conducted a UK-wide search of cross-sector professionals who demonstrated strong experience in finance and strategic communications, respectively. We put particular focus on those working in the not-for-profit and healthcare arenas, as well as those with experience in, or exposure to, the youth sector.

Sagar Sharma, whose remit as trustee will focus on strategic communications, is Director of Policy and Communications at Barnardo's. Prior to this, he worked in government, managing communications at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Justice and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Yetunde Ogundele, who will be serving as Treasurer, is Head of Finance at Nightingale Hammerson, and previously worked at Khulisa, Blackfriars Settlement and South West London Law Centres. Devina Paul is a Partner at Galvanise Capital and previously worked in leadership positions at Zumo and ReGenerate.

Devina commented,

“It is a real honour to be joining the Centre for Youth Impact as a trustee. What they provide is so important to organisations working with our young people, even more so now. I look forward to supporting the team and trustees to continue the high quality and value of the much needed services they deliver.

I have never worked with Society before but my experience was extremely positive and they were incredibly supportive through the whole process.”

Yetunde commented,

“I am really excited to be stepping into this role as treasurer at The Centre for Youth Impact. I feel grateful that I will be able to have an effect on the youth of today, which will make a difference to their future.”

Sagar commented,

“I’m very excited to be joining the Board of the Centre for Youth Impact and supporting the important work they do for young people. Thank you to Society for your support during the process.”
