Archer Hotel Capital appoints new Head of Restaurant & Bar Operations
Marc-Andrea Levy has been brought in to take ownership of all food and beverage operations across Archer’s portfolio, as well as revitalise the majority of their outlets. This role will focus on cultivating destination restaurant and bar experiences across Archer’s luxury hotels.
Archer Hotel Capital (“AHC”) was established in December 2018 and owns one of the best quality hotel portfolios in Europe, comprising 11 hotels with a gross asset value of circa €2.4bn and revenues of over €300m. Archer is jointly owned by APG Asset Management and GIC, two of the world’s leading institutional investors.
Archer Hotel Management is the operating arm of Archer Hotel Capital, and currently has five properties under management, totalling c. 1,200 rooms. Four of these hotels, have retained their international branding as part of a franchise agreement with Marriott International, and the other is currently independent. At least two additional properties, comprising a further 1,000 rooms, will be assigned to Archer over the next 24 months.
Society was tasked with identifying candidates that were currently working in complex food and beverage or hospitality consultancy roles, candidates working for restaurant hospitality groups in multi-site operational roles and candidates in senior-level operational roles within boutique hotel chains.
Marc-Andrea brings 18 years of experience in casual and fine dining groups to his new position. Having begun his career as a Beverage Manager and Sommelier, Marc-Andrea brings an innate understanding of the operational challenges in F&B and has an exceptional knowledge of current trends in the sector.
