Society is retained executive search firm and a certified B Corporation™. We advise on board and leadership appointments all around the world.

Society is a certified B Corp. This means we’re dedicated to balancing stakeholder interests instead of chasing profit at any cost. Every three years, we undergo a rigorous independent audit to ensure we meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We’re committed to fostering a fairer world and a sustainable future, putting responsibility at the core of our operations. We are also an accredited Living Wage Employer.

Our 10% Pledge

Every year we donate at least 10% of our profits to The Society Foundation. This is an independent charitable trust we set up in 2014. It provides grants to organisations that help potentially disadvantaged people move towards paid work. The groups we prioritise are the recently homeless or vulnerably housed, ex-offenders, and 16-24 year olds not in employment, education or training.

Serious About Sustainability

We have declared a Climate Emergency and committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Our partner, Inhabit, is working with us to measure and cut down our emissions - about 36% of which come from business travel. For those emissions we can’t eliminate, we have agreed only to use verified offsets, focusing on carbon removal projects

We treat people as people, not as a means to an end. We’re fair and straightforward in our dealings with clients and candidates. We never 'blag'. If we don't know something then we'll admit it. We also seek to practise what we preach .

Excellent search involves effective storytelling. We listen to the nuance of each brief, put bespoke research into every project, and think outside the box when sourcing great people. We're also continually on the lookout for innovative ways to use technology in the service of our clients.
