Jalil Rahman, who previously headed up Vertu’s Content strategy and Brand Partnerships, has recently been appointed Head of Brand Partnerships for Liberty Fabrics, part of Liberty Ltd, the iconic, luxury British department store.

Liberty is internationally recognised as a purveyor of luxury goods and a leader in print design and textile innovation. Established in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty, they have produced original and inspiring designs for over 130 years and sold the finest and most exotic items to a discerning customer base for 141 years.

Jalil joins Liberty from the luxury lifestyle and technology brand, Virtu. His career began in Brand Marketing at Burberry. Having been fortunate enough to work on Licensing and Partnerships for the London 20102 Olympics, his commercial expertise was then further honed through working directly with Ozwald Boateng. True to his creative spirit and passion for British brand identity, Jalil is the Founder of Augustus Pili, a bespoke men’s footwear brand which champions traditional British manufacturing.
