Professor Mick Grierson from Goldsmiths joins the University of the Arts London

Professor Mick Grierson from Goldsmiths, University of London takes on the role of Professor & Research Leader for the brand-new Institute for Creative Computing at University of the Arts London.

University of the Arts London is the world’s sixth best university for Art and Design in the QS World University Rankings 2018. They offer an extensive range of courses in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts, with graduates going on to work in and shape creative industries worldwide.

The search was international in scope, focussing on identifying individuals across the United States of America, Europe, Canada and Australia.

In his role as Professor & Research Leader, Mick will work closely with the newly appointed Dean of the Institute (Benjamin Stopher) in the establishment of the Institute as whole, but also take a specific focus on delivering and developing the research agenda for this ambitious new, creative and interdisciplinary venture.
