Liberty appoints new Head of Brand Development

Society have again partnered with Liberty of London and their private equity owners Blue Gem Capital on the appointment of Zoe Geary as Liberty’s new Head of Brand Development. Zoe represents the culmination of an extensive search to meet an extremely specific requirement within Liberty’s senior team. She brings her excellent fusion of marketing and commercial experience to the post having previously been Head of Business Development at Reiss.

Society was tasked by Liberty to deliver a field of very specific talent that could be personally responsible for the growth and development of a key business remit and an area of real shareholder focus. We needed to find somebody equally at home in a board room full of investors, in a creative studio, on the ground in logistics centres, or walking the floor in a store. We were looking for somebody who truly understands the power of commercial segmentation and the value it adds to customer and business alike. We were also seeking to couple passion for global expansion with the commercial skills to lead such a high profile business area. We were delighted to find all these things in Zoe. Emerging as clear front-runner following and extensive six-stage process, Zoe was delighted to join Liberty and is excited by the role she is taking on.
