KIDS Charity Appoints New Trustees

Society are delighted to share the appointment of Georgina, Helen and Sara to the  KIDS board of Trustees.

Founded in 1970, KIDS provide a wide range of services to disabled children, young people and their families across England. Now is an exciting time for KIDS as they begin a new chapter in their history and Society was delighted in supporting KIDS to appoint three new Trustees.

Society was retained by KIDS to search for potential Trustees with charity leadership and/or governance expertise, ideally within the services, safeguarding and fundraising arenas.

Georgina (Georgie) began her career in the third sector at the Council for Disabled children and is now the Safeguarding Coordinator for CARE International, a global confederation working to fight poverty and social injustice in the world.

Helen has worked in the children and young people’s cancer sector for 15 years and is currently Chief Innovation Officer at Young Lives vs Cancer, the UK’s leading charity for children and young people with cancer.

Sara is an accomplished communications, PR and marketing professional, with extensive experience within the charity sector. Sara is passionate about social justice, both personally and professionally and was previously a trustee for a local women’s refuge.

We would like to wish Georgina, Helen and Sara all the very best in their new roles as Trustees for KIDS!
